The Old Spaghetti Factory restaurants nationwide are celebrating their 40th anniversary by offering 1969 prices tomorrow (Tuesday, January 6, 2009) from 5 p.m. until closing.

As part of a class action settlement, many department stores are will offer free beauty products starting on January 20th. The stores involved are Bergdorf Goodman, Bergner’s, Bloomingdale’s, Boston Store, Carson Pirie Scott, Dillard’s, Gottschalks, Herberger’s, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Parisian, Saks Fifth Avenue, Younkers. To claim your free product you must stop by one of these stores between January 20-26 and sign a paper saying that you purchased a beauty product between May 29, 1994 and July 16th 2003. Free Prescription Antibiotics

here is the highlights....Giant Food stores will give free generic antibiotics to customers with a prescription for the next three months in what retail experts called an aggressive move in supermarkets' heated battle for shoppers.
The company said the program, which will begin Friday and last through March 21, covers several popular antibiotics such as amoxicillin, penicillin and ciprofloxacin.
